Bibury March 2011

I was in the beautiful Cotswolds last week photographing the wedding of Steven and Sarah. The wedding was in the village of Bibury once described, by the English poet and artist, " William Morris" as the most beautiful village in England. It's not hard to see why he thought so. The village is on the River Coln which runs through the bottom half of the village. Arlington Row photographed below....... Reached on foot by crossing an old stone bridge. It's famous for its honey-coloured stone cottages with their steep pitched roofs. These 17th century cottages, known as Arlington Row, were converted from an original hall, used to store wool, into weavers' homes. If you have not had a chance to visit Bibury and the Cotswolds it is definitley worth the effort.
